Twitter's Ineptness in Decision Making -- Case 2

Case 2: March 2020

This is about the arbitrary way by which @LillyMaryPinto was suspended. This also traces a big error in locking her account on 16th March 2020, just before her suspension on 29th March 2020. The absurd claim made by the micro blogging site was that it posted private information.

Here is the full picture of the lockout screen which she received.

Due to the COVID-19, twitter claimed there would be a delay in processing the appeal. But, it went to more than 10 days. This delay forced her to delete the tweet and return back. Shortly after that she was suspended.

Now, here is my tweet on the illogical reason for which she was locked out on 16th March 2020.

The tweet text contained a link from zeebiz.com. It was about how IRCTC and SBI joined hands to introduce an offer. Click this to read the full news. This was in no way defined in their policies on private information, as claimed by twitter. Though twitter claims to act against bots and suspends real accounts by mistake, they have let many bots remains, especially those which are created just to report.

The COVID 19 seems to be a convenient excuse to delay the processes and get errors re-checked. Read this to know how Rangoli Chandel lost her account instantly after a mass reporting group of bots targeted her.
