Twitter's Ineptness in Decision Making -- Case 1

I am penning down this blog post after witnessing the misdeeds of Twitter in delaying or evading action against some users and how they "mistakenly" take action based when they get spammed by mass reporters whose only job is to report and bog down Twitter's systems. I will keep adding under this same series, by writing about new cases which I observe.

October 2018- January 2019 Case 1:

This is a tweet by the user @savakku which is a direct violation of the Terms of Service of Twitter.
Tweet by @savakku.

Here's the screenshot from Twitter's policies that define Abusive Behaviour.

The matter of this violation was taken up with Twitter, First by Twitter Support DM and then by the report option on the tweet. Now, the DM mode of reporting is closed and does not exist.

I wrote to the the CEO of Twitter, Jack Dorsey (whose account was suspended by mistake in another instance) and Mahima Kaul, another official of Twitter about this, the very next day I reported the account. Here is my tweet:

Here are screenshots of the report I submitted on 30th September 2018, to the chat bot at Twitter Support DM.

The next day when I tried to report another violation of a different account, the chat bot said I already had one pending.
The chat bot of Twitter Support refused to give any further updates, when I decided to report the same tweet using the option provided within the tweet. The screenshots of the email are as shown below.
This is the acknowledgement of the report:

The next day, Twitter decided that they had found no violations and disposed the case. This is despite a clear violation of  Terms of Service which prohibits wishing for death or disease.

Again, here's the screenshot from Twitter's policies that define Abusive Behaviour. Check the highlighted part.

Fast forward to 26th January 2019, i.e. 119 days or approximately 3-4 months later, I raised the issue again and some people responded to it tagging TwitterTwitter CEO Jack DorseyTwitter India. Here is the tweet:

The next day, i.e. on 27th January 2019, I received a reply from Twitter Support DM stating that they have locked the account for violations of the Twitter Rules.

These are the tweets where I have documented and informed these errors in judgement committed by Twitter.

Let's not forget, President Trump's account was deactivated due to an employee's biased decision influenced by his political view. These matters get rectified immediately as the person involved is an influential one who can demand a re checking of the issue. It's an ordinary user who becomes the butt of such jokes while facing unfair and arbitrary actions, leading to loss of time and even the account. There is a clear bias shown towards Verified accounts where they can get away by committing such violations of the twitter rules.

Incase you are reading this and have a case which you wish to include, don't forget to write to me
